It Takes Years

I’ve come to realize this past year that people are generally accepting of how one’s profession takes years of hard work, patience and dedication.

But they aren’t willing to do even half the work when it comes to improving their personal or emotional state of mind — they stay complacent, look for short cuts, seek distractions, tell themselves they don’t want it. Or worse, convince themselves and others how life is meant to be a cycle of hardship, disorder and decay, so why bother.

Don’t listen to these people who aren’t brave enough to do the work.
