05.21.2021. Who doesn’t think the polar lights is magic. Some ever pragmatic scientists may want to break it down into its literal components — lights resulting from the distortions of the sun’s magnetic fields — and still I’d ask: true, and what about that isn’t magic?
Last April, when the full weight of the pandemic was just beginning to really puncture what about life I took for granted, I decided when it was all over and if I was still around, I’d move it to the top of my list. This is still true…and I’m still around.
In my opinion, it’s still too early to travel vast distances unnecessarily — it’s too soon into vaccinations to know whether new strains may arise and whether I may be a carrier. As much as I want to travel, I don’t think "just because I can” supersedes the risk I may be to the health of others not yet vaccinated.
In the meanwhile, I drew this scenery of what I imagine it’ll be like when I finally see it.
